9. PUBLIC HEARING – TOWN PARK MASTER PLAN AMENDMENT
Decision Required: None.
The Neighborhood Design Center has put together a proposal to amend the Town Park Master Plan. This includes relocating the basketball courts, erecting a new pavilion and adding ADA access.
10. INTRODUCTION O-6-13 AMENDINGDANGEROUS WEAPONS
Decision Required: Whether to move to second reading.
The Mayor and Town Council are removing antiquated.
11. SECOND READING O-3-13 AMENDING 4-7 REGARDING BEEKEEPING
Decision Required: Whether to move to adoption.
The Town Council is considering the following legislation to address a request of the Community Garden regarding the ability to establish hives.
12. SECOND READING OF O-4-13 AMENDING ZONE PARKING
Decision Required: Whether to move to adoption.
The Mayor and Town Council were presented this item and discussed it at the last Worksession. Its intent is to eliminate some lesser used zones.
13. ADOPTION OF O-2-13 AMENDING THE TRAFFIC SECTION
Decision Required: Whether to move to adopt.
The Mayor and Town Council were presented this item and discussed it at the last Worksession. Its intent is to codify the current County Zoning laws regarding dual wheel vehicles.
14. PUBLIC HEARING – CONSTANT YIELD TAX RATE – MULTI FAMILY UNITS.
Decision Required: None.
The Mayor and Town Council, by State law, must hold a public hearing when exceeding the Constant Yield Tax Rate. In this case, the hearing only applies to the rate being levied for multi-family units as the rate for the single family units does not exceed the constant yield rate and is exempt.
15. ADOPTION OF OB-1-13 - FY14 OPERATING BUDGET AND C.I.P.
Decision Required: Whether to adopt.
The Mayor and Town Council will be adopting the Budget for the upcoming year.
